We usually go by bike from Bonn here. In the cafe we ​​always come and order coffee and cake. We are always very satisfied and always friendly. The cake is great. In the summer you can sit outside nicely. The view goes to the harbor. Inside it is very cozy. We like to come again and again.

I wanted to phone to see if I could reserve a table for the afternoon because I wanted to come over with my uncle and aunt (both 90 years old) for coffee and cake. I probably unknowingly tried to call several times from 10 a.m. Around 11 a.m. you answered the phone. But I've never seen such an unfriendly announcement. I was told in a harsh tone that it would be a cheek to call several times, the guests would get a heart beat. Everything is on the website and on Sundays we don't give reservations. Apparently I have to apologize that two 90-year-old people don't have internet. Both of them just spontaneously wanted to visit the castle again. Unfortunately, both of them are no longer able to just get out of it. I hope that the lady on the phone never comes in such a situation. I would recommend her to change her tone of voice. Or change jobs.

Relaxed at the Mondorf harbor. Very nice and courteous employees. Delicious cake and delicious ice cream. We got a seat on a Sunday in August 2020 and felt comfortable at all times. We will be happy to come back.

Very strict on the expiry of vouchers. No friendly atmosphere to feel good. Lack of flexibility. We will no longer be guests.

Unfortunately we were not satisfied ... Service could be friendlier Since there were 4 people we chose 2 different breakfasts. We would have liked to have 2 additional dessert plates. But unfortunately only after repeated requests from the owner a plate was forced out ... with the remark ... Usually not because the breakfasts would be served on the plate provided ... and you would then have to wash 2 more plates ? Very enough to again 1 plate. We found this behavior impossible and not at all hospitable. In addition, we are used to richer and higher quality breakfasts in other restaurants in Niederkassel ...

The location and location is wonderful ?? At Corona times everything is a bit difficult and of course you have to accept some restrictions. Nevertheless, the little castle is doing a lot right here and I will be happy to come back.

The lumberjack bread (or something like that) is very tasty. Ice cream from the supermarket, cake unclear. Not too crowded. Which is not surprising ... Nice view of the water though!

Very nice ambience. Sitting outside, gazing out over the Rhine and enjoying a delicious breakfast is definitely possible here. Super nice staff who respond to special requests. Always my pleasure.

The location is great! A wonderful destination. The interior is also nice. The breakfast unfortunately does not keep up with the cakes. And charm and friendliness of service sometimes fluctuate.

I have my reasons why this cafe got only one star from me and I'm very sure that even if I go into detail here in public, nothing changes and I'm just not willing to step on the social media or to I also miss the time !!!! But, after this snippy answer, I did not want to leave that for me like that. Everyone has the right to freedom of expression and I have not even left a comment. My rating is justified for me and ready!
